Thanks. Had a retailer telling me they were made in the 1940s. I think they were confused by the serial numbers

The 1030 calibre was introduced in 1954. It's a serial number reset issue.

They are seeing 1xx,xxx serials and thinking it's forties. It's not it's mid 50's
