Rolex service in Orange County, CA

Hi, my Rolex Submariner (1977) has salt water damage. While I was on vacation my watch totally filled up with water, it took a couple of days to dry, but everything still works. The watch needs to be cleaned, checked and serviced. I was wondering if someone could recommend a store in Orange county, LA or San Diego area.

Thanks!

LA Watchworks in Pasadena gets high marks.

Jewelers on Time in Newport works on Rolex, but may shy from water damage.

If I had a watch that is damaged as you describe, I would take it in to the Rolex Service Center in Beverly Hills.

Might want to send it to a vintage specialist like Phillip Ridley (Arizona) or LA Watchworks (Pasadena, CA) given the age of the watch. The sooner the better as it's salt water and more corrosive to the bits inside. Good luck and sorry to hear that. This post should be on the vintage forum for more feedback

Your profile says Newport Beach. Take it to this guy in Costa Mesa. https://instagram.com/joedeker?igshid=zo9w7zdtmzlj

Ditto..

LA Watch Works in Pasadena is widely known among TRF guys for doing good work. Do a quick search on here and you'll find a ton of people's testimonials about them. While not in SoCal, both Rolliworks (in Campbell, near San Jose) and Independant Watch Service Center (210 Post St in San Francisco) up in the Bay Area also have been used by many members on here for servicing their Rolexes. And of course, there's always the RSC in Bev Hills.

I’ve heard great things of LAWW.

In SD go to D’s Time service. They are great.

You have posted the exact same Thread 3 times this week.

I have combined them all into one master Thread for your convenience.

Please look through the comments and refrain from further exact-same threads as it clutters the Forum, and leaves some members thinking their comment was removed when they see the same thread.

I’m in Orange County too, but this would be my play.

Call Giovanni Passalacqua, he owns the watch repair shop in San Francisco that used to be the independent but licensed through Rolex service center. I have had very good service with his shop.
