Elegant tank and dial is a beauty, but the strap not appealing to me. Figure on spending some $$$ on a replacement.

Great! That particular burl wood is Madrona. Quite rare and I'd buy it personally.

If you have small wrists than it would probably look really nice. Quite small for todays standards, super rare dial though.
I agree with the above statement. I would put a new strap on it, something in a dark burnt orange, light tan or something with a little more pop. For a piece like that, you need to go with alligator for sure. Rolex may even offer a replacement that fits.
