Everose welcome to the Rolex club

I finally did it and got my first Rolex. It's completely not the one I anticipated but so glad with my choice. I went to my local AD looking of course for a SS model (Explorer I, Olive Green 34 OP). I'm still surprised it's been hard for me to source that Olive Green 34 even with an AD I've bought quite a few pieces from. I came across the full Everose GMT while looking at what they did have and was drawn immediately by the beautiful rich brown and reddish tones. I've always assumed a GMT was too big of a case size for my small wrists. After putting it on I was sold but I came in look for a 5-6k watch and my heart was set on some 6x more. That was a week ago, and it was still on my mind so I pulled the trigger today and I have no regrets. What a beauty and a great first Rolex. IMG_2146.jpg

That is a truely gorgeous watch. I saw one in the bay area recency and was really impressed! Just out of curiosity, for such an expensive purchase, did you use a Credit Card? Or some other means of payment? Thanks!

....and Rolex is again asked when they might make SS watches more available...

Seriously though congratulations !! I love that GMT - and would have probably never bought mine if I could have had the steel ( or even twotone), but so glad that I did get it!

Yea no kidding. Solid gold Rolex was not even close to being on my radar and had even a weird stigma to me. The Everose in person is just stunning though so glad it worked out in it's own way. It's my first non-steel watch and I'm afraid it might be a slippery slope to more.
