Trading Pepsi for Hulk ?
Hi,
I was just wondering if people would trade their Pepsi for a Hulk these days? Before today the Pepsi was going for more than the Hulk ob Chrono24. But now? Not that I would trade in my Hulk though I always liked the Pepsi better.

True. But the Pepsi turns out to be rather elusive (unless I want to go grey).

Personally I prefer the Pepsi. That's actually not a bad trade. I know people are *asking* crazy priced for the hulk today but I don't think most would pay over a Pepsi for it.

I wouldn’t but I doubt you’d have trouble getting that trade done today.

I wouldn't trade either of them for the other. My aim is to own both. I'm queuing for a SS BLRO. My Hulk is staying.

As a Hulk owner who still hasn’t gotten the Pepsi, I don’t think I would make that trade. I like the Hulk, but it’s so hyped up ... almost too much for what it is. JMO.

That would not be a question if it wasn't for the new Hulk hype. It's another story if one always liked and preferred the Hulk when it was just a bit over retail, in my opinion.

The Pepsi will be more available in the years to come. They will be most probably produced for the next ten years. Look at what happened with the Batgirl. The Pepsi is still a new reference, wait until the hype cools down, and more are produced, they will be easier to get. The Hulk is discontinued, and the new Cermit is not up at par with the Hulk (the green sunburst dial is special), it will be harder to get at a reasonable price and may surpass the Pepsi in price. You should have both in a collection in my opinion.

The LVc is my favorite, but the BLRO is a lot more wearable and comfortable so no I wouldn’t do it

The BLRO is the “better” watch, and as you say more elusive. More comfortable. More universal. More historical. However, the Hulk is likely to firm as one of the most collectible watches ever now that it is discontinued.
All that said, if like the BLRO I think you should do it. Only because the heart wants what the heart wants.

I personally like the Hulk more than Pepsi. So I might, but the “Vegas money” says to keep the Pepsi. Popular opinion is probably the latter also. Pepsi is classic and has been for a while. I just never liked it, both in pictures and in person.

Trading Pepsi for Hulk ?
Yes! Trade it for the Hulk. It will probably be another 10 years before the new Hulk resurfaces, judging based on the experience of Kermit.

it's all very subjective I guess. don't follow the herd, buy what sings to you.
to me, Pepsi is one of best Rolex watches, along with Daytona C and Batman. color, functionality, dial, history, etc are just right. Hulk looks ugly as hell to me. I would never wear that thing even if it was given to me for free. |

Now hulk hogs the limelight as it is “discontinued” although it wasn’t even a really popular watch when it was released. don’t buy the hype now only to see its comeback later at 41mm.
