Anyone ask their AD about the new LV?

What kind of responses are you getting from your AD about the new LV?

I was on the 'list' for a Hulk and my AD said he was working on getting me one. I just hope they are still being shipped. Otherwise, will have to pivot to the new Kermit.

No point in asking. I don't feel like being laughed at or given some long winded BS story. But that's just me.

I rang my ad up today and asked what models they have in stock that have been released today.
Answer was zero.
No surprise there.

I'm sure most are confirming interest of orders then re-ordering based on spend history at end of week to see what the real list looks like.

I’m sure many of us have. In my case it was more to make sure they know I’m interested. Whether it’s the first allocation, or 10th. I don’t really care.

Mine said those on list for the Hulk will get first crack at the Cermit, and said that list was pretty long. Nothing in stock yet, I was told a year. FML.

If you’re in the pole position, the dealer will call you to arrange the Cermit acquisition...no effort at all.

Unfortunately, @ this point, if you do have to call them with the inquiry, you are going to be shut out for a considerable period of time.

I texted him last night about the release, we talked about the new watches and what we each liked/ didn’t. He asked what I was interested in and I said the Kermit one, to please add me to the 10 year wait list.

I’m pretty sure he will come through, always seems to and have been on a “hot streak” with them as of late.

If you have a strong relationship and history with your sales person, it makes sense to call this early on. My guy actually called me this morning!

We were talking about a week ago once the teaser got released. I told him there are all these rumors of a new SS sub in blue and that I have no interest in that. If we get a new SS sub in green, I am a buyer. Fast forward a week and he calls me this morning saying "you were right!". Phones have been going off the hook all morning so we only chatted for a few minutes - explained to him this is the closest thing I am getting to a Kermit and that I was very pleased to see the new case design. I'm on his short list :-)

I stopped by my AD morning and was told they "will be speaking with Rolex Friday". The store had no idea how many they will be allocated or shipping times. He was at least honest and told me the store manager had not yet decided how they will be "distributing" the watches yet but those willing to put partial or full deposit will have priority. I left my name for the imaginary list.

Got an email from Bucherer. Like a generic News one. Kinda wanted to call them and say I got their email and and wanted to buy one. But next to it was the BLRO jubilee, and then I remembered that the only sub I like is the TT, which is too much IMO.

I would say this is correct, the AD would have already called if they had either Hulks or Kermit C, in stock or on the way.

Spoke to them a bit ago, small convo based on the new watches and she asked what i was interested in, told her the new LV and possibly DJ 31 for the lady said shed hope to give me a callback real soon.

Hope it works out for you, on my end my friend/ad knew for awhile I had interest in getting the new sub if I couldn’t grab a Hulk in the few weeks I had left before it was discontinued. Like the one mentioned above whether I’m 1 or 10 I don’t really mind, I’ll wait patiently for it to come in. Meanwhile there are other watches I’m also looking at so it doesn’t bother me.

Heard same here. 75 people on Hulk list are getting called first.

Talking (texting) with my AD Mgr/SA this morning he said anyone who was on the list for a Hulk will NOT be transfered to a new "Hermit" list saying it's a totally new and different piece...He does expect some new models to show up in October and will have a limited invite only party soon when they recieve the new mock models just for show. A couple months ago they remodeled their whole store and we're then visited buy Rolex reps to check it out. One of the other Rolex stores, a busy mall boutique nearby whom I've had zero luck with since buying a 114060 in Nov'17 will most likely have some sort of showing but their useless for any ss pieces unless your a "Big Fat Whale VIP.".

Well now that the Hulk is discontinued they are aware I’d like the new LV. If I’m being honest I rather have the Kermit than the Hulk anyway, and not entertaining 20k+ for it for it either ha.

Just spoke with my SA. They do not have any stock yet and don’t know when for sure they will. They are having a trunk show in two weeks with all of the new variations. If I decide then that I want an LV I will get one. For an example of where I am in the pecking order I got their 12th BLRO seven months after they delivered their first.

Usually they do get shipped even after discontinuation for a month or so. Depends on how many is allocated to a particular chain. Same thing happened with me. Batman oyster got discontinued when i was on the wait list. After discontinuation, two BLNR came in from Rolex, one oyster bracelet , the other jubilee. Although i wanted the oyster bracelet, it was given to a VIP client who was also on the list and i was given the first jubilee BLNR they received. Best of luck. I would get in touch with the SA and emphasize that my interest lies with the HULK first.
