Check my thinking here, I am looking at lawrenceb's SS/Plat Yachtmaster that he has for sale that's about ten years old and badly needs a new band. From what I have read here I am looking at roughly $550 for the service and a wild offhand guess of $800 for the band?

I'll also troll the forum searching for non Rolex service offerings, as long as they do a good job and use genuine parts I am happy.

Been hearing the call of the SS/Plat YM for a long time now.
