Oyster Clasp
Hello,
I've got an Rolex Oyster Perpetual on which a small part of the clasp (don’t know what it’s called, please see attachment) is loose and does not sit on its place. Is it how it should be or something wrong with them? And how can I fix this? Thanks. |

Does that part still have spring tension? Or is it loose and dangly?
That part just has the "hook" part and on the other side of the clasp has where it hooks into. Make sure you press it all the way so that the flappy bit of the clasp "snaps" into place. |

It snaps into the place, but then opens. |

Another question if it is possible to adjust this bracelet to half link? I tried but cannot disconnect clasp from bracelet to move it to another hole.

There are some micro-adjustments inside the clasp that can be used for adjustment too.. The flip may be adjusted with careful pressure applied.. One must be careful with the cast clasps; they aren't as forgiving as the old stamped clasps.

Looks like that piece is coming off. You may need a new spring bar inside.
