First Rolex....214270 has arrived!!
I picked up my first Rolex from a local AD on Monday. Its a pretty cool feeling to get the call....makes you feel like a kid again. I was fortunate to have a forum member put me in contact with his SA, and I feel this is what let me get the watch so quickly. Thank you, Sir!
(I won't mention your name out of respect, but if you'd like to chime in, feel free) That said, the watch looks different in person compared to internet photos. Its smaller than I thought (been wearing a 41mm Tag Link Calibre S daily for the past decade), but it has a certain mystique about it. Very clean, simple watch. I love it, and the underside of the bracelet is already scratched up.....It will be my daily until (if) I decide to expand the collection.

|

Congrats and enjoy it. Mine is a month so still babying it. Still scratch free but won’t last I’m sure

Congrats. I love mine. I agree that it looks better in person than in photos and there are tons of beautiful photos of the watch on this site.

Congrats. Great choice. Black dial contrast so well with Rolex’s steel.
Can’t be a better combo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The matte dial does not photograph very well. It’s incredible in person, easily my favorite sport watch in the current lineup. Congrats! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congratulations! It will wear smaller because it is smaller. It’s 39mm. But Rolex sizes don’t always match what they advertise. The DJ41 is 39.5mm. The 40mm sub wears closer to a 41.5mm. I could go on but I’m sure you get the point. Anyways looks great on you.

Congrats. Yeah, having wore gshocks and divers most of my life when I put on the Exp it seemed small. Now, it feels great. Seems casual and inconspicuous.
