Are you going to sell your Hulk?

How many Hulk owners have sold or are considering selling their Hulk? I own one purchased at less than retail and will be holding, but it is tempting to think about. If I could sell it and turn it into 2 pieces I might consider that, but since everything is high it would just be another one piece with some leftover.

If I had one and it was just a piece in my collection without special meaning (first Rolex, anniversary gift etc) I would sell it ASAP and put the funds towards a Something gold. YMMV.

I don't really want to because I love it but i'm not going to lie, I am considering it as its my best chance to get a White Dial Daytona now.

If I was an owner of one right now I would be 100000000% trying to flip it and cash in. Upgrade to a DD40 or a full gold sub/gmt for not much more money. Even an AP RO/ROO.

It's almost a humorous question.

If you already have one of the more difficult watches to get at the moment, why would you get rid of it? You have it, you aren't going to get another one at the price-point you likely paid.

Of course, if you are not a watch enthusiast, you might worship another sort of green.

I'm not an owner of a Hulk nor a flipper and every Rolex I own is worth more than what I paid so its not about the money or investment to me. If I owned one that would mean I love it so it would be hard to let it go although 10k would really make think hard before it goes back down (soon) I'm guessing.. I could see someone doing it if they could trade their AD for the new Hermit or Cermit, whatever it's called now.

Anyone who rode the bitcoin wave and learned anything from it will be selling their hulk along with their tesla stock this week.

I would sell my Batman and SkyD before selling the Hulk. Only thing that would make me give it up is for a white Daytona.

Bingo. Unless I got married in the watch or something very significant, I would already have the $20k+ in my pocket.

A few weeks ago I gathered offers from several dealers. They all were eager to purchase my Hulk and kept increasing their offers. Something didn’t feel right, so I didn’t accept any of them. I remembered this forum, which I hadn’t been on in a long time. So I decided to drop in and learned Rolex would be introducing new models and maybe retiring the a Hulk in a few days. Thanks to all for the posts about the Hulk possibly being discontinued.

The added value for me is offset by the added exclusively. I love it even more now than when I got it two years ago at retail. The allure of some quick cash doesn't pass the risk of remorse later on.

No. Never.

I bought it 2 years ago as a birth year watch for my son and engraved it with his name and birthdate on it.

Going to be kinda awkward now that value has diverged so crazily from my daughters Grape OP but she has a lot more Jewelry coming her way from her mother.

Hardly exclusive. Matter of fact, the greys are literally laughing all the way to the bank on cashing in from selling to suckas

I would certainly trade my very lightly worn 2019 for something in the PM realm.

I bought a Hulk in 2015 with great discount from an AD and then after a year or so, sold it under MSRP. Then started regretting it and by 2017 the Hulk prices were sky rocketing and then I went ahead and purchased another one at retail price at 2018 from my same AD but this time no discount. So, won't be selling this one now. I just wish I had 2 Hulks by now! Oh well..
