Alternatives for Oysterflex rubber strap to put on a Daytona?

How much does one cost from the AD? (If they even supply them?) And what's a good alternative? Thanks!

Rubber B. They make great options. You can get oysterflex bands second hand, too. I'd go rubber B though

Strapsco - you won’t be disappointed. Get a set of smarty end links and you’ll be set.

How's the quality / engagement of the clasp that comes with this? (assuming that you ordered the clasp alongside the strap..)

FWIW, I've got one to go on my Yacht-Master. The strap is adjustable to make it fit as opposed to the OF which takes a crap shoot to find the right size if not going through an AD.

How’s the quality? I see they’re like $50 compared to rubberb $300 and oysterflex $1k

I speculate that at some point it becomes perceived value. With the exception of the Oysterflex, I can’t imagine the Everest or RubberB straps actually costing anything close to what they sell for. The margins have to be huge.

Yes, not all rubber is created equally and not are the finishes. But $300 for a rubber strap? We’re not talking performance tires on a Porsche here.

Maybe I’m wrong. I have no experience. Just my two cents which is worth probably less.

There’s also the fit question. The rubberb I got exactly match the case of my watch, so it looks as close to oem.

Visconti Milano makes great rubber straps as well, fit the OEM clasp without a problem. Better price then rubberB .
