Anybody own a Turn O Graph? Or am I the only one.
Hello fellow members. This is the greatest watch forum on earth. But I kind of feel like a black sheep, nobody ever mentions anything about my beautiful datejust turn o graph? Is it that unpopular of an item? I fell in love with this watch 1 year ago and it took me one year to save up enough to go pay cash for it. So please guys and girls be gentle, I am kind of a sensitive when it comes to my beautiful Rolex. Ok chime in I can take it.

Like I have said many times.....the DJ is an un-sung hero in my book....the turn o graph is a great piece.....with an added function as well....that has to be a good thing.....

Plenty of TOGs in this world today vintage and modern, fact the first ever Sub was just basically a modified 6202 TOG.

I don't have one but by looking at one I can surmise that if you operate the bezel correctly it allows you to do a couple of things......keep track of time in a second time zone, though not as well as with a GMT....and also to do some basic timing to the nearest minute or so, though not as well as with a Daytona....basically the rotating bezel is functional, not just a rotating gimik......

I had a white dialed one about 6 or 8 months ago. Great watch in my opinion. For some reason they just havent caught on yet, maybe theyve just gotten lost with the GMTII'c coming out, the new Subs, Daytona's becoming more affordable. I really dont know what it is. In the past year Ive had a DD, TT and SS Sub, 4 Datejusts, GMT, TOG, and Daytona as far as Rolex's. The Turn-O-Graph was actually my favorite to wear

Is the Turn-O-Graph the new Bigfoot.
Everyone seems to know someone who's seen one, but the only photograph we have (posted by Sperry) is very small and not detailed. Come on guys, does this watch really exist? I've seen some really obscure watches shown on this forum, but where is the Turn-O-Graph? I'm not convinced it exists. Come on, prove me wrong. I want to see some pictures. |

Here's one
I have a D series TOG that I got in the spring of 2005. Does not get a lot of wrist time as I am spoiled by my LV with its maxi-dial.

I love the TOG, but I wish it had the Fat Stick Markers on a Grey or Silver Dial. I can also live without the Red Second hand and the Red Date wheel. I love the bezel and the Oyster band.

Some great pix of Turn-O-Graphs here, but Stuart's (arttay10) with the factory MOP/diamond bezel does it for me. The gold date window surround is an added bonus.

Ive just ordered SS white face model and can't wait to get it. Should be here Friday. I don't care if it isnt as popular (common) as a sub. All the more reason to have it "exclusivity" Thanks Soarhead |

Hey Soarhead, excellent choice. I also wanted to be different. I have several friends that have Subs of various flavors. I was always drooling over them. They would let me try their Subs on and it felt great. I would then go to my local AD and fantasize some more. But one day I went in and there was this absolutely striking stainless watch with a black face and red second hand and date window, and I was hooked. I tried it on and it just smiled back at me,the way the light hit the rotating white gold bezel had me in a trance. I could have put it on my plastic, but I did not want to get in trouble with my better half. So 1 year later and lots of saving here and there, and I ended up going to an out of state AD from where I live, and that big pile of 100 dollar bills was gone from my pocket to their cash register in 30 minutes. Only 30 minutes of bartering back and forth and it was coming home with me. Now I can hang with my Sub pals, and now they ask me what time it is. Wear your new watch in good health and enjoy it. It wil not be your last Rolex either. I have already started another Rolex fund. I blame it all on this forum.
