Second time is the charm (but much more expensive)! New incoming (VC)
I had purchased a current generation VC Overseas blue dial shortly after they were released about 4 years ago from an AD at a good discount. At that time I found the watch to be a bit too large & heavy on my wrist (on the metal bracelet). I also felt a bit guilty having spent so much on a timepiece! I reached out to the AD & was able to return the watch.
Surprisingly to me I recently decided to try again, I made several calls to numerous ADs & was told that they had no anticipated ETA on the watch (the original AD seems to have gone out of business). I then decided to get on a wait list at a VC boutique for an Overseas. After a relatively short wait, the VC arrived yesterday (thanks Harry!). I love it & find the watch to be a bit smaller than I remember. It's amazingly comfortable on the rubber strap & I look forward to to wearing it on the bracelet. I'm also going to get a custom strap or two made! Nothing else I can add that hasn't been said by other owners (color of the dial, quick strap change, etc). Obligatory wrist pic: |

Harry is awesome - helped me get mine as well (if you're talking about the NYC Madison Avenue boutique)

Fantastic pickup. It’s been growing on me. I owned the previous generation chronograph but ended up selling it. I’d probably need to thin the heard a bit and that effort is partially the reason I haven’t really moved forward.

Not to enable too much but I dare say the effort would be worth it! |
