Datejust 36mm-Rolesor or Steel?

Hi, all! I've ruled out a 36mm OP and am deciding between a new 36mm steel DJ with jubilee, fluted bezel, and white Romans dial vs the same in two-tone with yellow gold. The rose gold seems less versatile than yellow.
My interest is in a daily durable wearer that looks great with a suit and tie or just jeans and a polo.
I might buy a JLC Reverso in the next couple years so the watch doesn't have to be strictly dressy.
I was all set on the steel DJ, but it looks a bit flat in pictures. Does it pop in person or will only precious metal achieve this?
Lastly, could I get an AD discount on either piece? Thanks!

If not strictly dress go Rolesor, I like the yellow with the white dial. I think SS as more understated, and if you go JLC you got your dress covered.
