On the fence
I have a new 126610LN incoming and I currently have both a 116610LN and LV. I’m thinking of selling the 116610LN so that I still have 2 subs, just different generations. Can’t tell if I’m making a mistake doing that or not. Anyone else in a similar boat? Or those that have multiple generations of black subs care to chime in on why I should keep the older black sub

I personally think that unless you have a reason to keep both, not worth doing so. Put the 11 series towards something else.

Unless you're planning on getting the 4 and 5 digit Subs to build a specific collection, I say sell the 116610LN and put it towards something else/offset the 126610LN

Do you have a chance to get 126610LV instead of 126610LN or not? If your AD allows you to, I would get 126610LV instead. At lease the Hulk and the new Kermit doesn't look the same and IMHO it's good to have both.

I requested the 126610lv once everyone found the backdoor website page that showed new models the day before it was released. My AD thought it was funny, I sent her the link to make sure she knew I wasn’t BSing. I initially told her no interest in LN but once offered I couldn’t say no. I’m sure she will come thru w the LV at some point hopefully sooner than later.

I am considering to the same but with the Sub No date.
The idea of having two different generations of Subs is tempting. |

Do you need the money? If not, I'd keep all 3 of them.

Early Congrats! Nothing wrong with multiple Subs. I have a 5 and 6 digit Sub although that's a little more of a difference than your situation. I'd at least hold on to it for a little. Thats always an easy piece to move. Do you have any interest in something else to replace it with, maybe a Gmt, Expll ?

If you are not in need for immediate cash or want to trade-in for another watch, I would keep them. The pre-owned prices are such that you can hold on to them for a little while longer.

As many others said, unless you're interested in building a Sub collection of perhaps every generation down the line, I say sell the 11. No point having two black ceramic Subs. And if you want your supercase watch you still have the Hulk.

If you don’t need the funds, wait a while and reassess in a few weeks of owning all of them.

There is ZERO sense in keeping a 116610LN and a 126610LN. Its 99.9% same watch.

Personally I wouldn't want those 2 black Subs. I'd keep the 126610.

Agree with Travis. I think both would be a little redundant since they are so similar.

As others have said I’d ditch the 116610LN. Unless it’s specifically needed for a “collection” they’re just too similar.
