Incoming!!!
Hello,
I hope everyone is doing great in 2020! The Explorer 214270 Mk1 was the first Rolex watch that I bought a couple of years ago. If I remember correctly, I traded it less than a month after purchasing it for a Submariner Date 116610LN. I missed the Explorer and thought about buying it again someday. Since I just turned 40 this year, I had the perfect excuse to purchase it once again. The wife was also supportive and encouraged me to get it. As we all know, ADs are usually out of stock but I was able to get one NIB from a grey dealer. I have rarely worn the Submariner and sold it a few years ago with no regrets. Now I only have 3 no-date Rolex watches. I love the simplicity and convenience of not setting the date. I think I am set for now... But in the future, I am thinking of adding one or two more no-date watches to my collection. Thanks for reading my post! |

Nice collection, congratulations on a great set of watches.
I am a no date fan as well, there is something about that dial symmetry that I like on a no date watch, my collection is a Speedmaster, Railmaster and Submariner, I have my eye on a Milgauss at some point or maybe one of the new OP41's. Enjoy your collection and wear in good health.
