Z-Blue is 25% cooler.

as long as it has the green crystal, that makes it!

I had the GV and in all honesty I got rid of it because the matte dial looks almost cloudy in 90% of lightning conditions due to the green sapphire. Everything else about that watch was sublime.

The z-blue I have not owned and I’m planning to get one next month. And my assumption is that the dial won’t look muted due to its metallic construction.

I love the Milgauss, always have. I had black and loved it but the Z always haunted me until I made the switch. I do love the black and wouldn't feel crazy adding it but for one the Zblue dial is just too mesmerizing and will always stand out as a one of kind and must have for me. However being my choice doesn't mean it will work for you. The black may work better for you.

Black GV was my first Milgauss but now I have the Z-blue and also the non-GV in both black and white.

black with green

I prefer the black dial with green crystal. The blue with green crystal is too much, it's too many colors for me. The black face also seems easiest to read for my old eyes.

Always always blue dial over plain black. Trust me on this.

It will be better for you long term and it just plain looks 100x nicer

I like both also but if buying I’d go blue only.

I like the blue but the black dial with green crystal also works.

Blue dials are for girls.

Seriously, you gotta go with what you like, not with what everyone tells you they like. The Milgauss is a great watch. Period.

I bought a Z Blue sight unseen, I liked it but didn't really wow me, then I saw a black dial and I like it much better. The Z blue in the right light and angle was amazing to look at, but must angles (to me) it had an aqua green/blue look which I did not like. You are also limited to colors that the watch matched, certain long sleeve shirt I have did not look nice with the Z Blue. I ended up selling after 6 months..

Prefer the black GV. The blue and the green is a bit too much random colour for me, and the blue doesn't work as well with the orange seconds hand.
