Doesn’t impact me at all. If a seller and buyer don’t think the price is crazy, that’s all that really matters.

As insane as that list price is, I think you’re absolutely right.

Crazy price but hey the old 116619LB is selling for close to $50k now too and the 116618LB is selling close to $40k

So asking $60k for the brand new model for the privilege to "flex" on Instagram may be worth it.

For that price free shipping should be included.
I didn’t know the 619 is selling for $50k. Crazy times.

I saw one up for$53K now it's gone. I see one on Ebaay at $57. Seems hard to get this watch at the moment. What if Rolex keeps this piece a very low volume unit? Value preservation is definitely one of the strategic objectives.

I'm disappointed that seller is charging $100 for shipping. With that price I would hope he'll do at least free shipping! Lol.

Have to agree but while members bring this extra advertising from sites like the one posted by original poster to watch forums over the net. These crazy prices will exist even more as it advertises sites like chrono24 more at TRF internet bandwidth.

That's 20 grand more than a NOS 116619LB. I seriously doubt it will sell at that price. I don't think a 126619LB will be too hard to source from an AD at retail price.

Exactly this.
The OP, probably unintentionally, helps to advertise

It’s not really great advertising here though, as we all would agree that the price is ridiculous.

The real story here though, is the price of NOS smurfs. It’s amazing how prices shoot up as soon as a piece is discontinued.

After considering the premium and sales tax above msrp the Seller paid to the AD to get the piece, expected carrying costs, potential fees for selling on the platform, and factoring in a little room for haggling, the Seller probably hopes to make @ $5K on the watch.
