Tried on a friends Deepsea today ...
My god is that watch big ! I daily a sky dweller and it’s absolutely huge in comparison ha.. I’m quite a big guy weigh about 16 stone my friend is more like 18. It looks perfect on him I definitely could not pull off that bad boy. Was considering an sd43 for a little while is there much difference in how it wears? Think I may stick with a sub for the black dial diver!
Have to emphasise that if you are of the stature to pull the deepsea off it’s an amazing looking watch, a real MANS watch is how I would describe it. |

I agree 44 mm is not that big, once you get use to wearing it will feel small...

Visited my AD Friday and requested the new 12 Sub LN or LV response was may take a while but could maybe get a DSSD sooner, I’m 18 stone (252 lbs) with 8.75-9 inch wrist, maybe he was insinuating something

44mm doesn’t tell the whole story ..... it’s the thickness . It’s a tuna can .

Not for everyone but I think more of an attitude thing. 44mm is not huge. If you are uneasy wearing it, it will show. You have to own it

44mm is not huge, but IMO it's the thickness that's an issue. I have an 8" wrist and tried to love the DSSD and the JC. I just found them to be too thick and top heavy.

I relied one on at a dealer and it was more the weight and height then the width.
It’s too a bulky mass for a tool watch that really serves no more useful service. Not my cup of tea. |

It blows my mind that the majority decision on these forums about the 216570 is that it’s too big but these DSSDs are in play.

I have a 7” wrist and I love the way it wears. With the DSSD glide lock that can be adjusted without taking the watch off you can adjust it ever so slightly in a second for changes in wrist size depending on the temperature. I find that I wear a bit snugger than my other watches and it’s not too top heavy. It’s actually more comfortable then my WG BLRO.

I've worn a DeepSea and can't get use to the overall height of it. The 12.4mm of the Sub is pure perfection

I have a 7 inch wrist and it feels right to me so the 16 stone guy should realistically have zero problem wearing it. As others have said, you may find it will become your go to watch...

It’s a great watch and not too big, but it’s crazy thick and the bracelet should be 22mm.

You mean it isn’t 22mm? I sort of thought it was, so is it 21mm?

I think the 116660 is 21mm.
