Is there any way of fitting the great oysterflex on the steel Daytona?

Any members done this and where did you source?

Many people here in the forum had fitted the Oysterflex to the steel Daytona and looks really nice! You can find the Oysterflex rubber pieces on the sales section here (need to determine what sizes you need, table below):

You may also buy from an friendly AD but in general an AD will only sell them to you if own the watch model which they were intended for.

What about the clasp?

You can use a clasp from a regular Oyster bracelet (easylink, glidelock, etc) or can buy an aftermarket clasp as well. This is how the Oysterflex bands look without the clasp fitted:

Kevin (Mr Wonderful) from Shark Tank was showing off his white dial Daytona Ceramic on a red rubber strap on YouTube. He is actually selling it on Phillips auction site to raise money for a charity. It looked pretty good and I’m sure a black strap would look great.

Interesting indeed. Now I am on this topic...would a 116610 bracelet fit the 116500? I am thinking perhaps it would?

The strap will fit just like it does on any other watch. What won't fit are the integrated end-fillers on strap-Daytonas. These are fit under the bezel into machined contours, which no other models have.

Likewise, you can frequently fit a bracelet on a strap model, but you have to take the bezel off and remove the end-pieces first.
