Black Bay ETA vs Doxa Sub 200

Hi all I have a BBN (ETA) and saw Doxa's Sub 200. I have no experience with Doxa at all. I think it looks good. Anyone have experience with both that has input? Any pros / cons compared to the Black Bay ETA. Any discussion welcome on designs / technical aspects, etc. On paper they look to be very comparable (with exception to the date feature on the Doxa). Would like to know how it wears with the beads of rice bracelet, etc.

Reference point I have a flat 6.75 in wrist
My BBN fits ok on the wrist, but wish there was a bit more micro adjust or a half link I could throw in it. I currently wear it slightly more snug than my other watches since adding a link and adjusting the micro in is too loose. Other divers I have are my SubC and Tudor 79090.

If you have a Rolex Submariner and a Tudor Submariner 79090 maybe I would buy a Doxa. They are excellent divers

If you're familiar with the YouTube reviewer Bruce Williams, he was not very complimentary of the Doxa Sub 200. He literally said it feels like a $500 watch and implied it is a Doxa in name only. These are far different watches and I would not expect anything close to the level of the Tudor from the Doxa.

Black Bay ETA vs Doxa Sub 200

I know this is not one you mentioned but with what you have I would look at the Monta Oceanking. The bracelet is one of the best I have ever felt.

And I have owned about every BB diver, subs etc.

If you want to get into Doxa, I'd go with the Sub300T instead of the Sub200. I bought mine over the summer with a rubber strap, and I love it. It's a unique diver with a lot of history. You'd lose out on some of that history with the sub200.

The BB is a far better watch imho. Quality is on par with a sub. Doxa is on par with seiko.

I say that owning 2 BBs and a 114060...and I’ve got my eyes on the BB41...that’s how much I like them
