Oyster 41 lug width?
Can a happy new owner of the Oyster 41 measure the lug to lug width? I'm getting a strap made at Aaron Combat Straps for my yet to be delivered watch. He doesn't know the width of the new release. Thank you in advance.

Oyster 41 lug width?
Understand bands need to be 21 MM wide, but suggest to check with a ruler just in case before ordering

I’ve heard 21mm also but would wait to verify. I’ve had two custom straps made by Aaron and specified the length of each side and only three closely spaced holes for the tang buckle. Very good work, post up when you get it.

I saw your post in the Omega forum. You inspired me. I am getting the black sting ray with pearl, and am going to put it on the yellow 41 Oyster. I think that is going to look killer!!!

BTW, I had Aaron make me a blue canvas strap for an Oris Carl Brashear bronze that I have since sold. It also had the odd size 21mm lugs. I had him make it 22mm and the canvas was supple enough to squeeze in. I did this because I had several other watches with more common 22mm lugs. The Oris is gone but the strap is now on another dive watch. |

Why in the world would they go with 21mm when over 41mm watches in the Rolex family have 22mm bracelets?
