IPhone 12 magnets

Any one know if the magnets on the back of the iPhone 12 harm a Rolex

Just don't lay your watch on the back of the phone.

Good advice. I've never had a problem wearing a watch and using my phone.

Unlikely. But even if it did it would quick, easy and cheap to get it de-magnetised so not worth worrying about.

That really looks awesome.

OP- I doubt it. Don’t put your watch on your iPhone. Any iPhone.

Rolex watches have a degree of magnetism close to the Milguass if not exactly. Rolex just doesn't advertise it. If they were to have marketing for antimagnetism of say 1000 guass on a Sub or DJ, it would look really bad for the Milguass.
Rolex won't say it out right but when you read about the parachrom hairspring, the new qualities of the 32xx series and even the 3135 to an extent, they have put a huge effort into antimagnetic properties.

What's the issue, well just that Omega makes every single master chronometer to be resistant to 15000 guass or more. That's fifteen Rolex Milguass watches. If you had an Omega, you could just laugh at Rolex guys and their worry levels.

Also to consider is the amount of R&D that Apple put into this tech so it isn't volatile in it's social environment. It would be a huge black eye in Apple's face if this tech were to cause havoc with mechanical and digital instruments in a buyer's ecosystem.
Then common sense says, what situation would involve leaving a mechanical watch laying on top of a phone or known magnetic source. I can't imagine any Rolex owner at least, that would do that, we are way to anal retentive to even let a watch get wet.

I wouldn't worry about it. In all my years of owning watches, the only time one was magnetized was my Planet Ocean which I used while in the military. I spent a lot of time around helos, fast roping, flying in the doors, etc...and if you don't know, the blades put out huge amounts of static electricity, somewhere along the lines it affected the watch. It happened on two occasions, it took my watch maker less than ten mics to have it demagged and functioning properly.
