Blancpain Chronograph
I was not quite the highest bidder on this beauty, taking a chance on fleabay.
I factored in £600 for a full service to make sure it's tip top. The price ended up a little bit over my valuation and I let it slip by. I now have a tinge of remorse. This baby knocks the SS Daytona into a cocked hat IMO (and I've got a Daytona).

Thats a beauty...
Keep your eyes open and you will find one at the right price. I am amazed at how well WTB ads work on some of the forums. I have gotten a couple AMAZING deals. Everyone always shows you their pics and say "Make me an offer" I always respond. I am sorry, I do not play let's make a deal. Please just give me your best price and either we will have a deal or I will pass and keep searching as I hate to haggle back and forth. You would be shocked at how well you do just being direct and honest. (now don't get me wrong, I won't say I have never ended up making a counter offer still haha)

I saw that one as well, went for £3250 which isn't a bad price, my only grumble is at 38mm it's just slightly smaller than i'd like, 40mm would be perfect, 42mm even better.

The date is a very nice feature that the Daytona doesn't have. I had a Daytona for about a month and sold it for that very reason.

£3800 is not half the price of £3250

I just said it knocks it into a cocked hat. It floats my boat, tickles my fancy etc etc Excellent movement, subtle date function, classic design, perfect dial colour, understated stealth and exclusivity. Heaven forbid it were 40mm it would be my "if you had to choose only one watch" wearer.
