Incoming Greubal Forsey

I could not resist... I went with the Greubal Forsey Balancier S-- their sports model release. It is very light and feels great on my small wrist. My only issue is I wish the seconds hand was a bit larger.... So just taking it out for its test drive on my wrist today... Really nice box.. albeit.. not a huge box fan.

Not sure I understand the bezel but what an awesome watch. Tried on one of their double tourbillons years ago.

Very nice, congratulations! Greubel Forsey is really something special, best finishing in the business! Did you buy it from a boutique? Not sure if GF is one of those brands where it’s impossible to buy from boutique or AD...

Never would call a 200k greubel a beater but that’d be awesome to wear around every day. The dealer I used to visit in Cleveland said they had clients from all over the place ordering them since there were not many dealers, but that was 10 years ago.

Just... wow! This is currently my favorite watch, full stop. Not that I would ever be able to afford it, though.

That's my excuse for asking you for more pics, please :-)

Don't know anything about this brand but that watch looks very nice, very unique and very expensive.

Congrats and enjoy

Congrats man, incredible piece.. and you calling it Greubal instead of Greubel all the time reminds me of Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman...

Lt. Col. Frank Slade: Clear them little bottles off. And when I get off the phone here, call up Hyman and tell him I want it wall to wall with John Daniels.

Charlie Simms: Don't you mean Jack Daniels?

Lt. Col. Frank Slade: He may be Jack to you son, but when you've known him as long as I have...

When you are able to afford it you can call it Creubyel if you want.

I bought through Rostovsky Watches-- they are the USA distributors -- dealt with Chad and Steve.. Great to work with.

Absolutely lovely. I'm a huge fan of Greubel Forsey.

Well done!

Enjoy it in the best of health. And thank you for sharing!

(Also, I wish more watchmakers would use smaller boxes -- for instance, I hate the size and weight of Patek boxes, or Lange boxes. Rolex really does it right.)
