I was going to ask a technical question, but looked it up. Duh.

Herein I share the information in case there is anyone left who doesn't know. The difference between pink gold and rose gold is not commercial, poetic or cultural, but physical. It pertains to the amount of copper added to color the gold. Pink gold has the least, rose gold has more and--this suprised me--red gold has the most. I did not even know red gold exists. Now I must try to see red gold with my own beedy eyes.

Take care.

Sorry about that. I listed them backwards. Vacheron calls it Rose Gold and Lange calls it Pink.

So far the comments confirm what I was doing to get, the Lange. Stay tuned.

Would you get the same results asking this question on the TZ site?

Lange because it looks much better to me.

I also don't like a calendar track around the entire dial.

Lange, all day every day but I happen to be a Vacheron fan for what it’s worth.

I would prefer to buy Lange 1 Moonphase Rose Gold because it one of my favorite watches, I am thinking to buy it at a black Friday sale, soon maybe I have this watch.

Lange is better finished and manual wind. I can't imagine any Vacheron I'd rather have over a Lange 1, even in their best finished watches.

Vacheron for its beautifully sculptured case. Much more complex than the straight lugs design of the Lange. I would buy a Fiftysix DD and a previous model Lange 1. For the price of either watch you’re considering.
