Need help deciding on a Glashutte Original Karree
I’ve been wanting to add a German watch and a moon phase (ALS is way more than I’m willing to spend). I did own a Glashutte Original PanoMaticLunar, but ended up selling it because I felt like it was too small at 40mm. I have 7.75 inch wrist and prefer watches that are larger than 42mm. I do own a JLC Reverso in the larger size.
I’m interested in a Glashutte Original Karree, but I’m concerned about the size. It looks like it wears larger from the pictures I’ve seen. My biggest concern is that with the lug to lug at 44mm that I may find it too small. I just measured all my watches and the shortest lug to lug of all my watches is about 50mm. Can anyone with experience with this watch give any comments? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I want to like this piece - I just wonder if there's other options out there that are a better bang for the buck. Is German a must?

I think they are a little bit chunkier than a large Reverso, so it might suit you.
I like them. |

Don’t like the moon phase on this one. Doesn’t seem special

Prefer JLC Reverso and Cartier Santos. This one is all over the place as a design. Looks like it was designed by a commitee. Not GO’s finest hour. Sorry if I am harsh.

I just went in for a dress watch and thot jlc but ended up looking at the GO panos, the ALS look alikes. I was close to pulling the trigger but I didn’t like the inverse on wrist and the white not a lot , so I wanted a blue or that green, and just couldn’t find in my price limitations. I did find a GO sixties w a date and it’s in the mail. It sounds silly but GO does that date so well, I’m willing to get the watch just for that.
And w urs well I’m not a huge fan of the tetra square Tonneau or whatever they’re called. I like Cartier’s but other than that, just not for me. I do love some of these GOs tho, I just don’t know anything about the brand |
