[Identify] Mystery slim 1980s sports watch from a film
I have no idea what this watch is.
I saw it in a movie called The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988) and have been mentally beating myself up for a while for failing to identifying it. Any ideas? It may not be helpful in this case, but the character is a Harvard anthropologist who travels to underdeveloped countries to investigate traditional medicines. Apologies for large images... you can click here to see smaller versions: https://imgur.com/a/JIZQ3cr#6hRmcHk And here are the pics: |

I agree!
When I first saw the watch, I thought it was a Sinn because it reminded me of that Sinn tegimented bracelet, but then I realized the "bumps" on the bracelet were literally a part of the links, rather than separate links, so it threw me off. Someone on reddit said possibly Tutima which is in the same ballpark. I'm going to add Precista to the list and keep Googling. Of course it could just as easily be some random Japanese quartz watch. No idea. |
