The most perfect Rolex ever made
As I look at my new 126200 I think about the features of a Rolex. It is an engineering and design marvel.
What Rolex model do you feel is the ultimate in quality and design? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

They way the hour markers are cut out and shortened on the SkyDweller is terrible in my opinion

The 39mm OP range that was recently discontinued was possibly the greatest modern Rolex release of this century.
I also absolutely love the Explorer 1 and the Submariner (but not the Submariner Date). |

That's Rolex in a nutshell for you: I was making my choice, then looked at the contenders already entered in this thread, and thought to myself, "Yeah, they all have a good claim."

For me the perfect Rolex are the watches that are the backbone of range, the DateJust and the Submariner.
These iconic watches created the paths that others follow.

For engineering and design it's got to be the Sky Dweller for me.
For iconic design there are too many models to chose from. I'd have to sub categorise. |

I've owned 14 Rolex watches (16570 twice though)... so 13 different ones. And without a doubt 16610 with lug holes is the "most perfect one" to me.

Literally speaking; quality and design
The Rolex SD DeepSea Because it has been engineered to go 3900m deep and still fits on the wrist and looks very reasonable in size compared to some of the deep divers of the past. You can't get better design and engineering than that. |

The most perfect Rolex ever made
Congratulations on your new DJ!!! DJs are beautiful watches although really not a watch for which I really have much desire especially in the 36mm variety.
Rolex has so many beautiful models starting with the OP and on through Daytonas. To me the Daytonas are just absolutely engineering marvels and for my money the most complicated of the Rolex offerings even though the mechanics are long established. There are those who complain about the dials being illegible and complicated. I find the models very legible and in the complication lies their beauty. And as for size and fit, there's no other Rolex I've seen that packs so much into such a comfortable package. At any rate DJs are beautiful as well and a new Rolex is always a thing of beauty. As is said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There's beauty in all Rolex watches and we all find the ones we own as our favorites. |

Every Rolex has its charm and all are well made regardless of age.......The older models established the brand and for that I would say that the greatest rolexes are the datejusts and the subs.... the new models are continuing to make history and they have something in the range for everyone.
