Size of New Kermit vs 16710 GMT Master II - Help Please
I am considering purchasing new Sub Kermit (the 12 model) but I have a 6.5 inch wrist. I have a 16710 (pictured) which I like the fit of. Does the new Kermit wear much larger? Thanks for any input!

The new model is only 0.5 mm bigger in terms of diameter so I think the size difference will be negligible, it will probably fit you just fine.
The big difference will be the bracelet and clasp. The move to 21 mm bracelet width is a huge mistake and the clasp is even bulkier than it was before. Both of those will be more noticeable for folks like us with small wrists. A 21 mm lug width also limits after-market strap options. |

Thank you
for your reply.
From reviews I have seen online, many people think the clasp of the 126610LV is TOO LARGE. That is a red flag for me. Hopefully someone with the watch will post more input. |

I am no expert in Rolex, so others will chime in.
However based on my limited experience, the 6 digit references wear much larger compared to the 5 digit you have. Although I have seen girls with 6 digit subs and it looks fine. The new ones wear about the same as 116610 however the bracelet and clasp are larger. Personally for me that's much too big given that I dislike the 116610 clasp and find it to be much too large and uncomfortable. |

16710 is much smaller in size and also appears smaller in absence of the the maxi dial. I enjoy the 16710 more than any other watch i have ever worn.

i have a 16710 coke and a 124060 new sub and a 6.75" wrist and i feel comfortable wearing both
i did previously have a super case sub c and personally much prefer the on the wrist wear of the new model - personally i have no issue with the bracelet but love the reduced lugs of the new model a truism but only your opinion matterss on the watches you choose to wear
