Bluesy too flashy for a daily?

Bluesy owners! Is this watch too flashy to wear as your only watch?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

Mine is too flashy for me as a daily given my daily dress.

Still wonderful to have one in the collection though.

I used to have a decent collection and had to unload them all in my divorce. Bluesy was the last one I sold.

Recently back up to par and got to buy my first one back in 5 years. Bluesy was the one I picked to start my rebuild. It’ll be my daily for quite some time now and I love it!

I think its perfect for daily wear. It dresses up and down with ease. Great watch.

I wear mine daily and it has the ability to dress up or down. Never had a single complaint or negative comment. If you like it wear it as often as you want. It’s asinine to me how many on this forum worry about the opinions of others over our purchases.

9+ years, wore my one and only 5 digit bluesy, GADA.

In all the time, only two occasions someone noticed it and made a comment about it. One was at a party, where you want to be flashy and such... complement from a very nice looking lady with taste (she was the fashion manager of a big store chain), and another time on a white water rafting trip, from the young man who was renting the boats to us.

I agree that the Bluesy can be worn daily and goes well with any outfit. However, wearing to work daily can depend on the corporate culture of your company.

I am in charge of Asia for a large global company. It is a Scandinavian company and they stress humility, equality, etc, etc. As an American, I really do not agree with the company culture 100%. But they are the employer and I follow/respect it. So in my case...I do not wear flashy watches to work despite being the most senior guy in the region. My global colleagues are the same.

I have a 116613 along with many others. But I wear a Speedmaster or 14060m as my "work" watches. These really draw no attention and fit my company's work culture.

I've been thinking about picking up a Bluesy and going with the blue band as a sort of sporty look compared to the TT band.

Yes it was for me. Too flashy at any time, and I only wore it one time to work. Since sold.

I get more comments about my TT Bluesy than any of my other watches including PM Daytona. I am definitely self conscious about it now, keep it tucked up under my sleeve now that the weather is colder...

Honestly, no. I have a number of expensive watches. I know of a few people in our organization who are Rolex owners and nobody even cares. It was of some interest when I purchased my first Rolex since nobody in my dept. of 6 had one but years later nobody even mentions it anymore.

Yes. I actually traded mine in for the YG 41mm sub. After a short honeymoon I couldn’t wear my bluesy. Wasn’t what I was looking for.

Ditto. Everyone noticed mine. To a fault. Hard to explain. I feel more comfortable wearing the PM version than the TT.

Ah..could be but I don't care what others think.
I wear mine everyday.

It's all about health, happiness & family. The rest are just necessary inconveniences we have to deal with.

The Blue TT Sub provides the most flash for the money in Rolex world .
Most complimented on, in my whole collection .
It is in my opinion an iconic reference since 1988 .
16613 Blue and 116613LB .

I can’t pull this watch off with my tattoos, just too busy. It’s a stunner and a great daily wear piece.
