I walked into my local AD and told the owner I was a new man.

I said I wanted to buy a ton of diamond jewelry for my Wife.

The AD was smitten. I picked out earrings, a tennis bracelet and a large rock ring. The MSRP was over $250,000 USD.

I told the owner I did not require a discount. He was even more smitten. Grinning from ear to ear.

Then I told the owner I wanted to make a deal. His face was less smitten.

I wanted a BLRO and a white dial Daytona. He took the jewelry off the counter hurriedly and kicked me of the store.

I guess the joke is on me.
