Visiting Vegas in June, any chance of getting a Submariner from an AD?

Hi Guys,

I'll be in Vegas on June 16th - 21st (Covid Permitting), I want to add a steel submariner (date or non date) to the collection but they seem impossible to get here in the UK.

Do you think I'll have a chance of getting one from an AD in Vegas?

I am also looking to add another precious metal piece to the collection, in order of want:

1) Green Dial yellow gold Daytona
2) Oyster Flex Daytona
3) Olive Dial rose gold day date

Again for those members who live in Vegas what is availability like for these models above?

You’re expecting to walk in to an AD and pick up a green dial Daytona?

I think you have a better chance to win a jackpot at the casino and use that money to get all those timepieces from the Grey dealer.

Perhaps you're right, I was being a bit harsh, so my apologies to the OP.

But honestly, does any one who knows any thing about watches really think they can go to Las Vegas, walk in off the street to an AD at a major casino, no history, and walk out with one three of the hottest watches in the Rolex line?

I almost suspected he was just throwing some chum in the water just to see all the responses; on that count, mission accomplished

Looks like you want all of the hot models that are nowhere to be found except the Greys!!! I would think you have a better chance of hitting it big at the poker tables!!!

Bellagio or Wynn maybe for the olive n rose gold day date, everything else on your list not a chance at all. if you do buy the day date it does not hurt to ask what else might be able to appear after dropping 40+, you might not get a submariner but maybe a nice pen or watch roll I don’t see out of the question.

+1

It would not be impossible if you did a bundle deal. I would call the AD’s you are planning on visiting, speak to one of the SA’s or in fact the mgr of the store and tell them you will be there and would like to come into the store and introduce yourself. This would be better than just coming in cold off the street like hundreds do every day.

probably no chance for the rose gold olive day date either. they're becoming one of the hardest PM pieces to get

I highly doubt you'll land any of those on a walk-in, unfortunately. If lightning strikes maybe a DJ41 SS.

Haha, it was worth an ask, you don't ask you don't get!

I'll commence with Plan B, try and hit it big on the poker tables and come back with a green dial daytona haha

Always worth walking into an AD and striking up a friendly conversation and you never know. We have seen many times on the board about how “miracles” can and do happen.

Good news is you have nothing to lose by trying.

Good luck OP
