Grand Seiko Forum
Not sure if anyone noticed, but excellent job by TRF for adding "Grand Seiko" to this discussion forum title. Previously, and for many years, is was just "Seiko." (Full disclosure: I had reached out to Steve to ask about it.)
As GS separates itself more and more from Seiko, I think the distinction is very important. GS boutiques don't even carry Seiko any more, so the Grand Seiko brand is clearly venturing more into the high-end watch market and separating itself more from lower-end Seiko. And the watches of the two brands are very different, of course, arguably much more different than Rolex and Tudor, for example. |

Thanks for your engagement. I would love to see a dedicated Grand Seiko Forum but it’s a start.

Also, Tudor doesn't have a separate discussion forum, so to streamline, I don't have a problem merging Seiko and GS into one. At least Grand Seiko is mentioned in the title now, which is great. |

Nice! Well done, TRF.
Any step to help people understand that these are two very different products and companies is a good thing. |

Maybe there should be a new thread "Which Grand Seiko Are you Wearing Today ...."
Right now, it's only "Which Seiko ....." Probably should be separated. |

I'm good either way. I'm not ashamed that my Grand Seikos are Seikos.
