Incoming DJ41...TT...Everose

I had been considering the jubilee version with fluted bezel that one of my local AD’s had offered me on a casual visit, but by time I called back 2 hours later he had original customer he had offered it had decided to come see it. He never called me back to say if his customer bought it (have bought lots $$$$ Rolex etc from him (he has done this before, so my other local AD, is more likely to get get me anything Ivv bg want...

Then on long weekend visit to NYC I visited the very friendly AD in NYC Inhad met last Fall, and she had this one, which ended being more me (oyster bracelet) but with the chocolate dial I liked — it arrived by today and here is the pic. First TT watch Rolex ever, but think a nice addition to collection (see signature.

I think will get wristime often when PM not appropriate and SS too sporty.

That's a smashing watch. Recently, I stopped in the Rolex boutique in Los Angeles' Century City mall. This watch, the exact same configuration, was one of the models the sales associate showed me. I'd never seen the chocolate dial before in person, nor the Oyster bracelet in stainless steel and Everose.

Like your watch, this one had the domed bezel, which I think harmonized perfectly with the Oyster bracelet. And, the domed bezel set off that dial color perfectly, giving an accent to it without distracting from it at all, as a fluted bezel might. The 41mm size, also, is a great showcase for that dial. A very substantial yet elegant overall effect. I was knocked out by the watch...and the dial especially, that color is simply luscious. It is well named!

So, you've definitely made a wonderful choice, congratulations!

Beautiful.... I have the same TT everose chocolate dial but on jubilee and with fluted bezel. Love it! Something about the chocolate dial and everose combo makes it very special.

Thanks much...you have well described the effect. I thought TT was so 1980’s but with everose gold, larger size, oyster/moth bezel and this dial makes very European. in some angles looks as if the whole watch was all in gold.

Definetly recommend to reconsider TT Datejust, like these very social and going above a bit over market on chrono24 .

cheers!

Haven’t warmed up to diamonds in Rolex. But maybe one day in a DD...

I usually don’t get excited about diamonds on a mans watch but the way Rolex has those, they look like little diamond machines and are very interesting. That’s a crazy cool watch you have here!

I think that's kind of like saying I'll have RC Cola when Coke or Pepsi aren't appropriate. I can't think of a time that wearing SS or PM is inappropriate (Rolex of all types are always appropriate with the exception perhaps of the really large DSSDs). The TT looks every bit as rich as the PMs and as sporty as the SS watches, imho. But enough of semantics.

I really like the watch; it's a stunner and I could even see owning one!!! It's the prettiest DJ I've seen in a long time.

it’s not semantic . it’s about jewelry and clothing can send messages. and if I don’t want to show gold add now I have another option to steel.

But since I have them all it’s about a choice.

All watches scratch. they are meant to be worn.

Quite right. I used to have a YM with the rose gold PCL’s and it really was a scratch magnet. I don’t have any experience with the smooth bezel though.
Enjoy!!! It is a very handsome watch.
