Question about guarantee manual

I just bought a new SD43 a few days ago and the AD did not include this booklet. When I inquired about it they said that Rolex wasn't sending them any more of these booklets. Has anybody experienced this same situation?

I purchased a DJ back in September and received one. Never heard of it, unless it’s something new.

I'm not "trippin" over anything.

It's a simple question. I'm just curious if anyone else has had the same thing happen.

I'm just wondering if this is a new thing with Rolex or if my AD made a mistake. I've bought many Rolex over the years and always received the guarantee manual.

It’s a legitimate question that could affect resale. In September 2020 I did receive a booklet.

Perhaps you don’t understand the issue.

Got one with my Daytona a few months ago and would have been surprised if it wasn’t included...

They have been including them to my knowledge. Worst case you could maybe ask the AD to order you one. Congrats on the new piece.

It should have come with one. I got a watch on Thursday and it had one. I got a watch last month and it had one. And I got a watch in October and again it also had one.

It should have come with every purchase, but you don't really need it, all information you can get it online.

You can call Rolex corporate in New York. Ask them if you should have received at time of purchase. I believe you should have. If they say yes, you can ask Rolex corporate to mail you one. They will probably ask for a picture of your warranty card as they will want proof you own the watch.

I requested an owners manual for a GMT from Rolex corporate many years back and after I provided a copy of the warranty card, they sent me one.

I can understand why you'd want it. A lot of people, including myself, prefer to have the complete set. I would just call your AD tomorrow, let them know it wasn't included and ask them to provide you with one. They'll hopefully comply asap. Good luck, and congrats on your new piece.

I purchased my DJ41 three days ago which had been ordered by my AD. It came with the booklet.

Like Dufresne, I purchased a DJ41 recently (end of February) and I also received the booklet.

At the risk of derailing the thread - what else is "supposed" to come with a new Rolex?

It came with my SD in early Feb 2021

The box is not in yet. They said they get the boxes later and will call, but I got the booklets when I bought the watch.

I purchased an SD43 one year ago and it was included.

I also purchased a GMT from the AD 2 weeks ago and received one with it.

It is normally tucked in the back of the warranty card wallet. Warranty card is in the front.

Did you get the warranty card in the holder/wallet?

Inner green painted cardboard box containing leather card wallet. One side is the guarantee manual the other is the warranty card. The owners manual for the model. The hang tag with serial and model. The Rolex superlative chronometer tag. Sometimes the bezel guard which is usually thrown out with the coffin the watch shipped in.

Outer cardboard box with Rolex logo. White outer cardboard sleeve with box part number.
