What’s up with the exaggerated eyes and mouth contortions ?

Couldn’t make it more than a minute ............

Ah...it's time again to try to marginalize Rolex because their Rolex margins are very very tight.

His buddy Federico also does this. I'm seen it from other guys too. Trying to sow seeds of doubt on Rolex valuation so they can subtly push other brands that they bought for peanuts because they are "ice cold" and they can buy them super cheap. Then when they sell them instead of Rolex...more margin...

The Rolex hype train is running out of control but wont be headed off the rails anytime soon.

Interesting video. Intend to agree with him. Pricing on secondary market is insane and not sustainable. There is no shortage just an AD shortage. If there is even a slight squeeze a lot of smaller GMs will have to reduce prices fast.

People have been saying the Patek Nautilus line has been overvalued and not sustainable for years now, it continues to climb. I don't foresee it stopping for Rolex either unless we see another market correction. Plenty of excess cash to be spent, especially by those who did not spend on travel or vacations this year and have more discretionary income for luxury purchases.

Fully agree on Federico. He makes it too obvious.

Personally not interested in the Daytona at $30k or the hulk at $20k. I’ll continue to just purchase at the ADs.

there is really a disconnect between the rolex value and perceived value.

Bought what I wanted from AD. Bought what I wanted pre-owned. I’m happy with my not-so-hot-lot at the prices I paid.

Not seen this video but I’ve watched some of his others. Top tip: ease the volume down before watching.

The value of anything is always what is perceived by potential buyers.

Sometimes the video's are ok but most of the time too many words for too little information.

Why do some think that videos on that site have any value or validity?

I like Federico fine, but John P has no idea what he's talking about most of the time.

He's the same guy who asked if Omega was taking a page out of Rolex's playbook when you couldn't find Speedmasters.

(Everyone in the business knew a co-axial Speedmaster was coming).

Also, can't forget the classic "don't buy the Black Bay 58 blue" followed 24 hours later by "Delray has a BB58 blue in stock!!!"

Of all the most well known online guys, John P is wrong more than right. He really lacks the knowledge on most things watches.

I tend to like the guys who don't pretend to know too much. At least with Federico he comes from a serious watch retail background. John P is just kind of uninformed.

Well, the NASDAQ is nearing correction territory . . .

I noticed that Frederico does that closed eye face on camera a lot, but didn’t know his partner does it too. Clearly, they’ve been spending too much time together.

If you put the 3rd picture behind the second picture, I think you'll have your answer.

PRO TIP that you will all thank me for when watching these (or any) informational YouTube... take the video speed up to 1.25 or 1.5x.

First discovered this when watching Doug Demuro car videos... even better for redundant Rolex speculation
