Totally confirmed on Cellini shortage

I posted last week on the Cellini not being shipped to the United States. Has it been totally confirmed by others that they’re not shipping?
My dealer in the Northeast United States has three Cellini's and has said he has not gotten any offers or increased demand or interest .
Wouldn’t you think that Cellini’s being moderately priced to begin with and perhaps being offered at a lower price , that they would sell?
I own the basic Cellini and love it
Maybe its because of the lack of interest in any “ old school” dress watches ?

You answered you own question.

Furthermore, people tend to look outside of Rolex when it comes to finer watches or haute horlogerie

Not really contribtuing just pitching in an opinion. I really love 99.99% of the Cellini moonphase. Just about everything except the moonphase aperture. I just wish it had a more traditional design to it. Something covering the aperture. Forgive me if it has a name that I don't know... think every other moonphase, half covered. A sapphire caseback would be nice but a solid gold one would seem to add some great heft.

People want Rolex for the hype. When they were easily available, many did not want them.

Cellini is not one of the hype models. It is really that simple.

Cellini watches are supplied on exotic straps which are now banned in CA.
Belief that’s the reason.....no new stock
