Incoming! A bit of Chocolat!

I asked my AD to get me this to celebrate a very special milestone. I had not seen one in person and I have to agree with those that say it doesn’t photograph well. It’s beautiful in person and very understated elegance.

Beautiful watch. I keep jumping back and forth between the Chnr or Dj41 blue dial/fluted/jubilee as my next Rolex. That pic is swaying me though. Haha

Thanks for all the positive comments. I bought my first Rolex, a 5 digit sub date in 2013 which at the time was a huge purchase for me. I picked up my second, an SD 43 in Rolesor the week before COVID shut everything down a year ago. I can't deny having thoughts about how maybe I should not have made that purchase when I did, knowing the pandemic was on the horizon. I had similar thoughts after I bought the 16610 if I'm being honest.

The last 12 months have shown me how little I actually control and how fragile our worlds can be. I had much time to reflect while my business was shut down. I decided to not deny myself the things that bring me joy, within reason and responsibly of course. Life is uncertain my friends.
