Newbie here and in need of some help/guidance

Can any one tell me what’s the msrp?

Hi, welcome to TRF!
I enquired about a Jubilee bracelet at my local AD for a 126300 which has a lug to lug of 20 MM, I'm guessing the same as your coke.
I was quoted $2100 here in Dubai, but two folks quoted $1700 and $1900 here on TRF (were from USA) so its cheaper for sure where you live. Best to keep a budget of $1500-$2000

Usually its very easy to source from them, they do require a deposit but it depends from AD to AD.. and the time was 3-4 weeks from the time I put in my deposit.

BTW, what's the model of your GMT? if its the latest one then they can source it for sure.
If its an older model always ask them if a Jubilee can fit on your watch at all or not..

Hope this helps, have a nice day!

PS it just hit me you're talking about the 80's model if I'm not wrong. I've seen that model at a local grey dealer with an after market Jubilee but the Jubilee bracelet seemed to be from a 5 digit datejust

Do they require you to give Rolex your old bracelet before getting the new one?

If you want to keep your old bracelet, you can take if off yourself and keep it, just send only the case to them.

Doesn’t the 126300 have a lug width of 21mm?

Two days ago, RSC Dallas quoted me $1,900 for a new jubilee for my 16710. If you trade in your current bracelet, the cost is $1,200. If you want to keep your current bracelet, take it off and only send in the watch head.

One other note: My watch was born a "Coke" but I have a Rolex "Pepsi" insert on it. I would need to put the "Coke" back on it or Rolex would force me to change the "Pepsi" to a "Coke" and I would not get the "Pepsi' insert back.

I believe the 126300 is the DJ41 which has a lug to lug of 20mm
the 116300 which is the original DJ II has a lug to lug of 21mm

Nope. The 126300 is indeed the DJ41 and it sports the 62610 jubilee which is 21mm wide at the lugs.

Wow, I didn't know that I read on a couple forums it was 20mm like this one:
https://www.bernardwatch.com/Rolex/Datejust-41/RLX7485

Do you know if the same Jubilee will fit a DJ II? If it wont then is it because of the lug width or the spring bars?

thanks

The OP has a GMT 16710.
The correct jubilee for that is the hollow-linked 62510H stamped '50' on the last link and with endlinks 502B (drilled cases only) or 502T (both cases; with holes or not).

RSC only has the latest version (with 502T) which is part number B20-62510-20-2-E1, and about 2-3 years ago it was ~1200 USD in both European and Asian RSCs, and they did not require you trade in your Oyster.

The super jubilee 63200 or 63600 (both solid-linked) also fit, but RSC will not sell you one, as the 16710 never came on the super jubilee. You can find one in the second-hand market for 1500-2500 USD depending on condition.

Good question - don’t know about the DJ II.

Took my 16710 on oyster to RSC London for a service in December and requested a new jubilee bracelet.
Can' t recall the exact amount without digging out the invoice, but it was around £950, and they do return the old bracelet to you.

$1150 as of 2020 from RSC Dallas. I did not have to forfeit my Oyster.

I bought one a year ago from an AD for 1200 but it is the older version, not the super jubilee.

I hope I haven't hijacked this thread but all the bracelet experts seemed to be here.

I want to buy myself a birthday present this year but 1) cannot afford a new watch and 2) the odds are really against me getting a new Sub or GMT. The next best thing would be a Jubilee bracelet for my 216570 Explorer II. I know the lug width is 21mm but beyond that I have no clue what would work. I also don't really know how many clasp or end link variations there are although I'm not picky about that. Would a Jubilee from a current DateJust work? I'm asking now because I am returning to Norway in the fall for a cruise and would visit the AD in Bergen where I bought the Exp II three years ago and would order it in advance. The tax rebate is substantial there. Any help I could get would be greatly appreciated.

It is highly unlikely that your AD would order you a bracelet that was never available on your watch.

This is true. They researched my 16710 to see if it came in jubilee, which I knew it did but they did it anyway.

Even if it isn't "legal" I would still like to know what model including proper end links and spring bars would work. If they won't sell it to me at an AD I'm sure I could eventually find one from a trusted seller.

thanks guys. made the call to RSC. cost is 1150 if old bracelet is trade in if not than there is a 40% surcharge. watch needs to be send in they may require service as well which i dont think is necessary as watch is running as it should.
