Rose Gold Daytona Shortest Run?

Hi Guys,

Just want to ask what is the shortest run Daytona on the modern Ceramics? Is it the Rose Gold Chocolate dial with Arabic numerals? I cant recall any other dials that may have a shorter run than this?

I think it might be. The reason for this thread is

1) I've been hunting for this exact RG Choco dial with Arabic numerals Daytona to buy next but prices are sky high. I absolutely love the Choco and RG combo.

2) Just saw a video from David Khalil that he has just purchased one as well recently. Never could picture him with a modern Daytona like this.

3) It seems Rose Gold is extremely popular at the moment. Especially on the Daytona and the DayDate40s. I'm not sure why but trying to understand why its the most hyped metal at the moment?

All of the OF models are allocated now, tough watch to acquire without purchase history. I paid in full mid Feb and they are targeting Q2.

Are you sure you bought the Choco Arabic dial and not the new stick dial? Not sure how your AD can order these still - its discontinued.

Should’ve clarified, my comment was re: Daytona OF’s in general. Should’ve been more specific.

The racing dials overlapped briefly with the new updates, so 116508's with Arabics were only made for about a year, similarly to the Arabic Oysterflexes I think. Looks great but I like the chocolate stick dial even better personally!

Never knew they did these on OF!!

This has to be pre 2015 ?

Thought they ran on leather from about 2012 with this dial

Thanks for the feedback.

Very short run. I have only seen these available for sale in the leather strap and older clasp version.

Good luck with your search! Mine came on crocodile. Pit it on a brown RubberB and haven't looked back. Love it!
