Icon11 Is it me? Or have the hands have been relumed?

This watch is for sale but description says "hands match" I don't want to ask the seller, maybe he'll say what I want to hear.

Just wanted to know from experts (hence this forum thread) if the hands were relumed.

Thank you all!

Possibly, or are close service replacements.

I'd say they're too damn close to kick up any fuss about

Besides, they all age independently sometimes!

When all 3 (or 4) hands have the same exact shade, and that shade matches the dial very closely, I assume the hands are repaints. People have been told to buy watches with "matching hands" for so long that somehow lots of matching hands seem to magically appear ;)

I’m not entirely sure. Sometimes the hands to age a bit differently. The GMT hand particularly looks pretty spot on with the lume plots. I think they honestly may be original even if slightly off. Nice 1675 either way.

I think it looks lovely. It's very common for hands and plots to age in slightly different ways and take on different hues.

Exactly that and watch looks a fine example with great patina.

My tritium Submariner is original. The hands are lighter in color than the indices.
