Bought my 2nd Rolex

Let me know what you think.
And yes I know the dial plate isnt perfectly lined up with the band, but its barely noticable and I'm not gonna get it fixed.

The diamond encrusted plate and bezel are both after-market.
I think its a stunning watch

You certainly have your own Rolex style! I’m not an iced watch guy. But I’m glad you’ve found two iced watches that suit you. Enjoy them and wear them in good health!

They're not everyone's cup of tea. Taste is highly subjective.

I personally think Submariners are hideous. Wouldnt pay $1K for one, let alone $20K

Looks like the spaced the diamond encrusted letraset out a bit wrong as they went round the dial!

You like it that’s all that matters

Are you sure those are diamonds. Anybody who would do this kind of work wouldn't be able to use real diamonds.

If you like it, that's all that matters.
Congratulations.

Bezel and dial plate are 3.10ct Diamonds.

No idea where you get the information from that you can't use real diamonds on a Rolex, even if its after-market

Congrats with your new acquisition. Between those two pieces I like the white dial more.
As said ...taste is personall... as it should be! Wear it in good health.
(BTW I would pay 1k for a SUB, because I like Sub's also a lot;)

Not my style, but all that matters is you enjoy it. My work and lifestyle are pretty casual so gold and two tone just doesn’t fit for me.

The gold and blue dial look good together and the watch has a retro look, but I think you need to get the dial aligned.

Wasn’t it Frank Sinatra that said, “I did it my way”.

Yes taste is subjective. Only this watch is to the taste of a minority of Rolex lovers.

Yeah, that dial is a disaster — especially the visual transition from the VI to the VII.

Hey congrats OP. There is a reason Rolex makes both professional and non professional models. Diamonds and without. As you mentioned. The Sub is not for everyone and vice versa. All I can say is congratulations on your latest addition and enjoy it in good health.

I do like the blue, very vibrant.

Congratulations very nice, the daimond ones i mean. I agree with you about the green sub but the black sub is the worst one it’s one of the most dullest watches on earth I think if it didn’t say Rolex on it loads of people wouldn’t even look at it.

I don’t mind aftermarket, but these are trash quality jobs.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the diamonds are CVD and it’s plated gold bezel not solid.

As others have said as long as you like it that’s great. For me, it isn’t what I would buy, but that doesn’t matter.

I would have the quality of the materials used checked. As others have pointed out the spacing on the dial is not great and usually (but not always) work that has imperfections as this also tend to skimp a bit on materials (use cheaper stuff). It may not matter to you (especially if you got a good deal) but I would be concerned about the quality of the diamonds and the gold.
