Incoming...again!

I bought my first PAM over the weekend. It was a 777. The day after, I noticed a speck of dust right where it says “Luminor Marina.” I called my AD who very kindly agreed to exchange the watch for the PAM 915. Absolutely loving the sandwich dial!

It joins my small collection of a Hamilton Khaki, SubC date, and Speedy sapphire sandwich.

Nice, congrats!

I can’t explain why, but “8 GIORNI” works better for me than “8 DAYS”.

Nice! Congrats!

That’s a nice trade-up from 777 imo
U get the 8day PR and the sandwich dial... and it’s newer. Lol.

Clean dial without the usually added ”marina”

Thanks everyone! After a few days, I did note a very small dust near the 10:00. I think I’ll live with it for now and have it addressed shortly before the warranty expires. Maybe it’s the black dial, maybe it’s because these watches are mass produced, or maybe a combination of both. I’ve heard of horror stories where the watch would have to be sent once, twice, even three times...occasionally with more dust on the dial!

Congrats. Looks absolutely stunning, great photo too, really shows off the sandwich dial. Recently all I can think about are the 44mm Luminor's as I'd love to add one to the collection.

Just sent my watch to a Panerai boutique earlier today. They had a hard time finding the dust between the 10-11 hr marker, but it’s all I can see whenever I look at the it. I hope it comes back sooner than later!

Congrats. You are striking out though. Second one in a row with dust under the dial.

Haha yeah some weird luck I have to get two in a row with dust on the dial. If I didn’t like the watch so much, I would’ve just tried to return it. It was quite small but can be seen without a loupe...at least I can. The SA at the boutique had a real hard time seeing it even with a loupe. I hope it comes back free of any more particles on the dial!
