Looking to add a third piece
Hello,
My current collection is a 1861 Speedmaster and a 114060 Submariner. I am looking to add a third piece but I am not sure what direction to go in. I want my third piece to be a real heavy hitter. Something that can round out a great three piece collection. Any suggestions would be great! Edit: I would like my third piece to be Rolex! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Nice duo, 2 of the most iconic pieces out there.
Did you want the next piece to be Rolex, or are you open to other brands? If Rolex - Blue SkyDweller - GMT Pepsi |

It’s not a heavy hitter for some. I suggest a classic, 36mm DateJust.
My 36mm, white dial DateJust, gets the most wrist time than my SS Submariner Date, and my 39mm, White dial OP. It’s very comfortable, simple, a classic Rolex I feel one should have in their collection. It wears well on my 7 1/2 wrist. |

When you say heavy hitter you have to give some idea of budget as there’s a lot of possibilities :)

I have the same 2. My 3rd was a Panerai GMT. A vintage Coke GMT is also in my future.

A 126710 BLRO, or a BLNR or a CHNR. Or a YM 126622 blue dial.
Of course, if you mean heavy hitter in the way I see it then a 40mm Day Date in the metal of your choosing.

You have a nice two watch collection and two iconic watches. Why not step up and get a Day Date and round out your trio. I prefer the YG but you could go RG/WG/Platinum. I would consider a YG Submariner but you already have the dive watch covered.

Not knowing your budget, I’d suggest a Meteorite DD or Meteorite GMT

When I think "heavy hitter" in Rolex, I think something in PM. Maybe a DD or Sky Dweller.

A good variety to add to your current collection would be SkyDweller, Root Beer/WG Pepsi, and Day-Date(if you don't need GMT complication)

Something without a black dial would look excellent with your collection.

Definitely a day date. With a name like Escobar, it only fits

I'd say a GMT. It would add a date and GMT complication.

Looking to add a third piece
I have same 2 watches. Here are my candidates for a 3rd watch:
- Cartier Santos white dial large - JLC Reverso small seconds large - Omega Seasmaster 300mp blue dial - Rolex OP41 Bright Blue - Rolex DJ41 Blue, Fluted, Jubilee I’m not optimistic about being able to get either Rolex, so I’m probably going with the top 3, which are arguably all heavy hitters. A Day Date is a heavy hitter obviously, but I’m never going to wear an all gold watch anyway. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
