Two-Tone - Bluesy or Sky Dweller?
Hey guys!
I'm looking to get a two tone piece and would love to hear your advice. I've had a Datejust 41, Explorer 2 and a Sub. All stainless steel and I'm ready for some gold! Currently can't swing full gold and I really love the two tone. Currently looking at new bluesy and the Sky Dweller with champagne dial. I tried on both today and loved them equally. Sub is more sporty and SD is more dressy. I think the Sub would be perfect for my daily wear and activities... and it's freaking gorgeous! But there is something to that gold fluted bezel on the Sky Dweller. That is gorgeous too! Any advice/opinions? Thanks in advance!

I think there are much better iterations of two tone / champagne dial (mainly the Daytona and Datejust) than the Sky-dweller, at least on you. I would get the Bluesy

No love for the Sky Dweller two tone so far! Thought that might be the case!

What you don’t like a Rootbeer?
If it’s between the two you mentioned. Go bluesy. |

That Sky-Dweller is visual nightmare compared to the Bluesy.

This is a tough choice, first TT is awesome its not a compromise, you should totally go for it, you didn't mention this but how great with weight and presence did the SkyD fit on your wrist? I was surprised when I threw on a gold one and didn't want to take it off in the store, it has a lot of presence. Go with "feel" on this one both physical and gut, you can't go wrong.

I wore a TT Bluesy for 15 years. That said, the Skydweller has a much much better movement. The SkyDweller is bigger and less common. Not sure the champagne dial works with your skin tone as much as the blue. A black or white SkyDweller would be the way to go.

Bluesy 100%, but if its the bezel you like and you are looking for some gold, go for a DJ on a jubilee, much more bling for your buck.

I like the Sky-D. Poor picture takes away from the true beauty of that watch in person.

Sky dweller hands down! Agree that a different dial color would be better than champagne, such as black or white dial

I’m not a fan of that two tone sky d config but do like the white dial quite a bit. That said, I really couldn’t stand the bluesy before, but something about the new white lettering really makes it pop.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I vote bluesy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Even I would pick the Sub between the two options you presented.

Sub all the way. I think TT is great - a value imo in the rolex lineup. Think about a TT sub as a do anything watch. Beach vacation to the office. Go for it!

On your wrist, I'd say the Sub looks much better.
