I don’t like it but anyone on a Rolex forum calling it expensive it nuts considering a comparable Rolex model is double the price.

If it wasn't for the snowflake hand I'd be tempted to try it on.

Agreed, I bought into the hype and bought a BB Harrods. In truth nice enough watch, not as good as my much loved Planet Ocean 2500 from 2011, the green on the bezel is awesome, much nicer to me than Hulk or Kermit.

In the end I just started to hate that hour hand, such a shame as these are really nice watches

An OP is a poor man's rolex

A Tudor is a separate brand at a different price point

There are dozens of other brands at that price point Tudor competes against.

Only if it has a solid gold bracelet. (Not that I can afford it). But that would be a dream to have.

Was going to start a thread but since one already exists... A $5k premium over the Omega gets you full gold. Seems like these two play in the same sandbox. I prefer the esthetics of the Omega but prefer the full gold of the Tudor.

I think tudor should have done some form of gold alloy. I love the size and colors of this new 58 but the price is almost $17k and for that reason I'm out.

Omega is 9k Gold. $11,600
Tudor is 18k Gold. $16,800

The TUDOR Pricing should have been $11,500 and it would have stolen all the Thunder from Omega.

There is only about $1500 in Gold in the Case of the Tudor 18k... AND It's priced $13k higher than the SS on Bracelet.

I think at 11.5k it starts to affect/cannibalize Rolex sales (ie I'd get one of these over a Rolex) and perhaps devalue their brand (eg do they want to compete against Montblanc and Frederique constant or against Zenith and Omega)

Ultimately I think it's a halo product for the most die hard fans, not meant to be mass produced or sold (think limited edition but not called that). The silver one on the other hand is really intriguing.

I love it. I just wish it included an oyster flex type bracelet over the tackler leather one.
