New Explorer II Bracelet Taper???
Anyone see anything here?
Looks to my eye like they may have given the Explorer II bracelet the same treatment as the Deepsea and Sub bracelets got – i.e., reducing the taper a bit to make the bracelet more proportional the case. Anyone got anything on that? |

I don't think so. It's already 21 to 17.

Also the lug, it's slimmer like the lug of Submariner 40>41

Yeah very interested if modifications were made to the bracelet and case in terms of size or proportion. Less taper in the bracelet would be a welcome change imo and might tip the scales in favor of choosing this model over another as my first purchase.

They simply trim .5 of a mm from the inside of the lugs (either side) and increase bracelet size by 1mm.
That’s Rolex’s interpretation of a newly designed case. |
