Tudor 76200 (Price Day/Date) date Magnification
Hi all. I rececntly acquired a Tudor 76200 and noticed that the date magnification is slightly smaller than my Rolex Sub or even my TT DJ. I know this isn't a model sold in the U.S. but was wondering if anyone had any insight here or if this is standard. Rolex has a 2.5x mag but does Tudor? The watch is still under warranty (I think, due to the ext.) but figured I would ask before I went crazy. Photos attached of the Tudor and my Sub for reference

Guess no one really has input on this model Tudor?

Hello. I owned a 76200 not too long ago and I'd say the magnification was roughly the same. Here is a picture for reference. Hope this helps.

Tudor 76200 (Price Day/Date) date Magnification
Did you know that the magnification of the cyclops among Rolex models were never consistent even within model lines and that the magnification depended on which manufacturer delivered the particular batch of cyclops during assembly?
The same phenomena applies to Tudor |

There's a lot of pics of the 76200 in this thread you can use for comparison.

Anyway, I've always chalked it up to a difference in font and date wheel size being that it's not a Rolex movement, but rather a nicely finished ETA. Still a solid, robust, and proven movement, but it's also part of why these are still so affordable. |
