New SS Daytona and how I got one (pics included).
Wonders do happen, here is a true story: I wanted to share some pictures of my new acquisition and praise my favorite AD. While vacationing within the US (fully vaccinated of course), I messaged the general manager of the Rolex boutique I previously purchased a TT Sub from last September (126613LB). I asked if there is any way she could get me a steel Daytona but she said that there is pretty much 0% chance she can get one in anytime soon. This was the reply I expected of course but I assured her anyway that I would come visit the store to look at other models she might have and chat with her about the new Rolex releases.
Anyway, while I was in the area I let her know when I would come by and she replied sending me the best picture I have ever received via text. You guys can appreciate what a great day it was and how much better my vacation was after that The 116500LN in white is simply amazing, especially in the sun. Is it flashy? Yes. However, very classy at the same time. I do also own the previous generation 116520 in black but the new generation has a much more pronounced wrist presence. Enjoy the pics.
